"So this is what the Sovereign Lord says: See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who trusts will never be put to shame."
Isaiah 28:16
"For this battle is the Lord's, and He will give them into your hands."
1 Samuel 17:47
"God sets the lonely in families..."
Psalm 68:6
"Not ONE of God's good promises failed, every one was fulfilled."
Joshua 21:45
"The Lord will fight for you, you need only be still."
Exodus 14:14
Some things are going on here that are too sensitive to share due to the insecurity of the internet. So I am just going to ask for prayer. Prayer for wisdom and discerment and grace. Prayer that WHATEVER happens, we would act in a manner reflective of the Gospel. Prayer for the protection of my sweet family. Prayer for understanding. We know that God is Sovereign. We know that God is good, no matter what. We know that in all things, He will work for the good of those who love Him and who have been called according to His purpose. We cling to that.
I believe that the GOD OF THE UNIVERSE spoke my family into existence and that God does not change His mind. I am trusting in that.
We are SO thankful for the body of Christ standing with us.
More soon, I promise.

"Don't be afraid," the prophet answered. "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them." And Elisha prayed, "O LORD, open his eyes so he may see." Then the LORD opened the servant's eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha." 2 Kings 6:15-17 You have an army surrounding you in prayer and God who knows you, loves you and as you said...He is GOOD.

"Every time we think of you, we thank God for you. Day and night you're in our prayers as we call to mind your work of faith, your labor of love, and your patience of hope in following our Master, Jesus Christ, before God our Father. It is clear to us, friends, that God not only loves you very much but also has put his hand on you for something special."

1 Thessalonians 1:2-5

If ever anyone wants proof that Jesus IS ALIVE, it is to be seen in the smiles of your beautiful family Katie. Be assured we are praying with you and for you all.

Your work inspires us and is changing the world in which we live, little by little.

Thank you!

Praying on behalf of your family and those you love the words of Saint Patrick, a man of love trusting Jesus the Christ in a wild and hard place:

Lord may Katie and all who are bound to her arise today through a mighty strength, the invocation of the Trinity, through the belief in the threeness, through the confession of the oneness
Of the Creator of Creation.

Grant that they arise today through the strength of Christ's birth with his baptism; through the strength of his crucifixion with his burial; through the strength of his resurrection with his ascension; through the strength of his descent for the Judgment Day.

Lord, grant them to stand today through the strength of the love of Cherubim; following the obedience of angels; in the service of archangels; in hope of resurrection to meet with reward; in prayers of patriarchs; in predictions of prophets; in preaching of apostles; in faith of confessors; in deeds of righteous men.

In your mercy and power, help them stand today
confident in you who keep the strength of heaven: light of sun, radiance of moon, splendor of fire, speed of lightning, swiftness of wind, depth of sea,
stability of earth, firmness of rock.

Give them courage, Jesus to trust God's strength to pilot: God's might to uphold me, God's wisdom to guide, God's eye to look before them, God's ear to hear, God's word to speak for them, God's hand to guard, God's way to lie before them, God's shield to protect, God's host to save them from snares of demons, temptations of vices, and everyone who shall wish them ill, whether afar and anear, whether alone or in multitude.

Give them courage and faith to summon today all these powers between them and those evils,
against every cruel merciless power that may oppose their body and soul, against incantations of false prophets, against black laws of pagandom
against false laws of heretics, against craft of idolatry, against spells of witches and smiths and wizards, against every knowledge that corrupts man's body and soul.

Christ, shield them today, against poison, against burning, against drowning, against wounding, so that there may come to them abundance of love and care.

Christ with them, Christ before them, Christ behind them, Christ in them, Christ beneath them, Christ above them, Christ on their right and left, Christ when they lie down, Christ when they sit down, Christ when they arise, Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of them, Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of them, Christ in every eye that sees them, Christ in every ear that hears them.

Make, Lord, the "great cloud of witnesses" visible, that they shall know themselves a part of the communion of saints that transcends all time and all places, that they may know with all knowing that they shall never be separated from your fierce and protecting love. Amen.

Katie,

Read your post this morning and these verses came to mind (emphasis mine):

Ephesians 1:15-23 -
For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I KEEP ASKING THAT THE GOD OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, THE GLORIOUS FATHER, MAY GIVE YOU THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM AND REVELATION, SO THAT YOU MAY KNOW HIM BETTER. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and HIS INCOMPARABLY GREAT POWER FOR US WHO BELIEVE. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, FAR ABOVE ALL RULE AND AUTHORITY, POWER AND DOMINION, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God PLACED ALL THINGS UNDER HIS FEET and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.

Proverbs 21:1 -
The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD; He directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases.

Our war is not against flesh and blood and the devil is ticked because he knows his time is short (Rev. 12). Just remember that in a fight between Jesus and Satan, it's about like Samson arm wrestling a baby. Hang tight. He loves all of you SO MUCH!

Warring w/ you and your family.

Much love,
Doug & Stephanie

Who art thou, O great mountain before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring fort the headstone, thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you.

Our Lord Jesus alone be praised for His life in you, Katie.
